Associate Director, Global Audience Planning & Operations, LATAM/Mexico

The Associate Director of Global Audience Planning & Operations for LATAM/Mexico will report to the Head of Global Audience Planning & Operations, and will help drive audience insights, initiatives, and strategy across markets for the audience development organization


  • Act as a connective tissue between audience team, brands, and LATAM/Mexico markets to share critical performance updates and audience strategies
  • Work with Head of Global Audience Planning & Operations and Senior Manager of Planning & Operations to manage overarching team focus areas and audience strategies and goals throughout the year
  • Discover and utilize market trends and insights to develop and deliver strategic recommendations for audience development planning to global audience development leads
  • Connect audience initiatives with market performance by packaging insights and specific growth initiatives across channels and sharing with market stakeholders in LATAM/Mexico on a consistent basis (monthly, quarterly)
  • Work closely with Managing Director in Mexico and commercial teams to understand how best can we drive competitive value and revenue across brands, and develop reporting and insight sharing that is actionable from an audience perspective to achieve these goals
  • Work with central analytics team to conduct audience, competitive, channel, and platform analyses, and analyze and formulate holistic insights to advise teams on how to execute to meet audiences in different markets
  • Develop and oversee strategic cross-functional and central projects in collaboration with Head of Global Audience Planning & Operations and various stakeholders
  • Facilitate the scaled implementation of models created by central analytics teams (LTV and MTA) across brands and markets
  • Work with peers and leadership within Global Audience Development team to identify cross-brand opportunities across markets


Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in media or entertainment industry, digital advertising agency or online marketing, advertising, or publishing organization, with a thorough understanding of business models and strategies
  • Detailed knowledge of major web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture,
  • Strong understanding of social and mobile channels
  • Deep understanding and experience across all audience development touchpoints including but not limited to SEO, social, newsletter, and partnerships
  • Commerce and subscription/membership experience a plus
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present strategies and analyses to all levels of management, including C-suite executives and Editorial leadership
